I'd apologise for monopolising your comments with my defence, but I don't think I need to given that your recent blogs have been to slate me, or for people - like I said, who I thought were my friends - to slag me off in their comments regardless of whether I was mentioned in the post at all! You can't moan about the subject of the comments when it only reflects the subject of the blogs.
fair enough what ever the hospital bull shit was , but all i can see is someone who is inconciderate and completly self obsesed, you should stop thinking " poor me poor me bad news poor me " and put yourself in johns shoes, you left him on his own and text him the day before he left that you werent going, how would you feel if that happened to you ? then yous pissing john off while your there , maybe if you would of told him " the whole story" he could of understood? so you have no right to complain about him, he hasn't done anything wrong, just trying to cope on his own out in australia , why dont you stop thinking about yourself and put yourself in johns shoes
You're right marc. She ought to put herself in Jon's shoes. However in order to do so then, logically, jon would have to take his shoes off first, only he might not be able to for fear of causing some poor girls nearby to swoon at his nakedness. You silly sod jon.
Anyway, you asked me about uni. It's a lot of fun. I'm living in the best possible place, with easy access to all the important things, all my flatmates are great and i'm having plenty of fun. Don't know what the work's like yet, because lectures haven't started. Also, you really should meet Billy, my fellow japanese student. I think he might even challenge you for fondness and knowledge of anime (He loves gurren laggan!!!) although save ttgl he doesn't really go in for mechas, not even getter robo, so you'd win in that round. Oh yeah, and i'm going to go for the american football team. Brum's great!

I'm sorry jon, not slating you at all, but I kinda could see this coming. If ur gonna air ur thoughts to the internet, the person who you say them about is likely to find it. But I still don't blame you, I'll be honest. You felt how you felt and you merely said it.
And I probably shouldn't remark, I know, but Elle, I'm sure if you had told the story to jon he would've been more than happy for you to go home, if you had medical issues. But if you weren't honest with him, how do you expect him to be honest with you about how he felt to be 'abandoned'. You say it's pathetic of him to say all this on a blog, yet who else has he got to turn to when out there, and fighting with his only companion. Besides, you're not exactly rising above it, and confronting him, you're making yourself look like a bit of a fruitcake writing angry comments in front of people who actually are jons bestest friends. You've just not made it easy on yourself at all.
Lets be honest, both of you want apologies, and deserve them to one extent or another, but it seems neither of you is willing to give one.
